The Japan Science & Technology Agency (JST) is a government-supported organization that supports knowledge creation and dissemination in Japan, and the infrastructure necessary to allow new discoveries. JST plays a central role in Japan’s Science and Technology Basic Plan, funding basic research, commercialization of new technologies, distribution of science and technology information, and promote international joint research activities to foster the next generation of STEM research leaders. JST stimulates real progress in science and technology, and helps solve many social issues.
